Fulham midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe could be out for almost three months after undergoing surgery on a hamstring injury.

The 22-year-old picked up the injury in the 1-1 draw at MK Dons three weeks ago, coming off with 20 minutes to play.

Former Manchester United youngster Tunnicliffe, who has scored twice in 15 appearances for the Whites this season, is currently recovering after the operation.

Physio Chris Hanson told Fulham’s website: “The procedure was successful and we expect a period of rehabilitation of up to three months, which we are already two weeks into.”
