Tunnicliffe faces three months out after operation

Fulham midfielder Ryan Tunnicliffe could be out for almost three months after undergoing surgery on a hamstring injury.

The 22-year-old picked up the injury in the 1-1 draw at MK Dons three weeks ago, coming off with 20 minutes to play.[phone][/phone]

Former Manchester United youngster Tunnicliffe, who has scored twice in 15 appearances for the Whites this season, is currently recovering after the operation.

Physio Chris Hanson told Fulham’s website: “The procedure was successful and we expect a period of rehabilitation of up to three months, which we are already two weeks into.”
