Transfer gossip: Fulham among clubs linked with Joao Mario

Some of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s clubs…

Fulham are among English clubs to have been linked with Inter Milan’s Joao Mario.

Italian outlet Calciomercato say the Whites, Leicester and Wolves are interested in the Portuguese midfielder, who was on loan at West Ham last season.

He has not played for Inter this season and is not part of their first-team plans, seemingly paving the way for another move.

His representatives have been looking into securing a move back to England for the Portugal international, who has duly been linked with Premier League sides.

Meanwhile, The Sun say Fulham and Wolves are eyeing Nottingham Forest full-back Saidy Janko.

Manchester United are leading a race to sign Chelsea’s Victor Moses, the Express have declared.

The story is based on bookmakers Ladbrokes installing United as favourites to sign Moses ahead of Crystal Palace – and on reports the Nigeria international could seek a move in January.

And The Sun say Genoa’s Poland striker Krzysztof Piatek, who has been linked with Chelsea recently, has been given a £35m price tag.
