Muniz signs new five-year Fulham contract

Rodrigo Muniz has signed a new long-term contract with Fulham.

The striker has signed a five-year deal, tying him to Fulham until June 2030, with a club option to extend by a further year.

Fulham held on to their number nine over the summer despite interest from Italian side Atalanta.

Signed in 2021, Muniz has now made over 100 appearances for Fulham, scoring 27 goals.

The Brazilian was named Premier League player of the month in March 2023 after an impressive goal scoring run for Marco Silva’s side.

“I really want to thank God. I’m very grateful, and I would like to thank the club for having trust in me”, said Muniz.

“I would also like to thank my family, my friends in Brazil, and all the fans. I would like to thank everyone.

“It’s an amazing feeling to stay here and to have this contract and to safeguard my future.”
