Aleksandar Mitrović featured for Fulham as they lost 1-0 to Sampdoria in the Whites’ penultimate pre-season friendly.

Mitrović, back at Fulham on a permanent basis after being signed from Newcastle, came on as a second-half substitute in the match at Aldershot.

Former Southampton man Gastón Ramírez scored the game’s only goal – a cracking strike with 11 minutes remaining.

Earlier, Ibrahima Cissé went close for Fulham when he fired over after being set up by Andre Schurrle.

And after the deadlock was broken, Aboubakar Kamara missed a chance to equalise when he volleyed over after being found unmarked by Jean Michael Seri.
