Jol sure struggling Fulham will improve
Manager Martin Jol believes Fulham have the quality to turn their season around – despite them having won only twice in 14 league games.
The Whites languish six points above the relegation places following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with fellow strugglers Wigan.
Jol admits his side have problems but is convinced they will get enough points to stay away from the drop zone.
“We have a problem in our balance but we have quality and that will pull us through,” he said.
“But we have to score two goals. We needed a second goal and we did not score a second goal – it was the same against Southampton.
“Last year, if we scored one goal it was decisive. This year most of the time, it isn’t. If you cannot score another goal then you are vulnerable.”
