Fulham boss Martin Jol made no excuses for his players after their poor performance in the derby at QPR.
Rangers’ 2-1 victory was their first win in the Premier League this season and lifted them off the bottom of the table.
They dominated most of the game, with Fulham barely troubling them for long spells.
And Jol admitted: “I was very disappointed with our style of play, especially in the first half. We never looked to earn the right to use our quality.
“They were first to the ball all the time. Every ball we played forward was intercepted. There were too many players not there.
“They had Adel Taarabt today and we needed that – someone to do something special. And we couldn’t do the simple things.”
