Ipswich score two late goals to beat winless Fulham

Ipswich scored two late goals to come from behind and stun Fulham, who remain without a Premier League win under boss Alvaro Arbeloa.

Ryan Sessegnon put the Whites ahead with a cracking first-time strike, firing into the bottom corner from near the edge of the penalty area.

But Abdoul Ouattara netted with a fantastic long-range strike as well, and in stoppage time Arbeloa’s side were unable to deal with Jack Clarke’s ball in from the left and Dara O’Shea headed in a winner.

The result could have been very different had Fulham taken opportunities to add to Sessegnon’s second-half opener.

Emersonn should have levelled for Ipswich, heading against the post from close range after being set up by Julio Enciso’s left-wing cross.

Fulham then missed two big chances to double their lead, with Oscar Bobb blasting over and then finding Gonzalo García, who tamely headed straight at keeper Christian Walton – who produced a superb save to prevent a Fulham equaliser in the final moments when he denied Kevin.

Fulham: Leno, Tete, Affengruber, Bassey, Sessegnon, Berge, Charles (Manuel Angel 71), King (Muniz 76), Bobb (Kevin 76), Gonzalo (Larsson 87), Iwobi (Smith Rowe 87)
Subs not used: Lecomte, Andersen, Castagne, Palacios.
