Fulham wrap up pre-season with win against Stuttgart

Timothy Castagne’s goal gave Fulham a 1-0 win against Stuttgart in new boss Alvaro Arbeloa’s first game at Craven Cottage.

Castagne scored early in the second half with a near-post header from Alex Iwobi’s left-wing corner.

Earlier, Sander Berge went close for the Whites when his effort was cleared off the line.

Fulham’s new signing Shea Charles came on as a half-time substitute.

Fulham: Leno, Castagne, Bassey, Cuenca, Robinson, Berge, Iwobi, King (Charles 78), Bobb, Gonzalo (Nwoko 88), Palacios.

Subs not used: Lecomte, Borto, Amissah, Slade, Casey, Evans.
