Kebano faces long spell out with Achilles injury

Fulham winger Neeskens Kebano is set for a long spell on the sidelines after rupturing his Achilles in training.

The 30-year-old is set to undergo treatment from a specialist but is expected to be out for several months.

Kebano has played a key part in Fulham’s strong start to the season, making 12 Premier League appearances so far this campaign while recording three assists.

“It is sad news for us as a group and me and as a manager,” Fulham boss Marco Silva said.

“He is a top guy and everybody loves him in this football club we now need to support him and make him feel better again.

“In terms of football we are stronger with him, but it is the chance for others now.

“He has started so well this season and now I have to support him as well as I can.”
