Fulham were second best, Jol admits

Fulham manager Martin Jol admitted that his team were no match for Swansea, who coasted to a 3-0 victory at Craven Cottage.

City’s slick passing game caused Jol’s side problems throughout, while defensive mistakes did not help the Whites’ cause.

“We couldn’t do what we normally do and that gave Swansea more belief and strength,” said the Dutchman.

“Even when they’re playing against Manchester United or Chelsea, they always have a lot of possession and you can press them or you can drop off and try to break against them.

“We’ve got a lot of players who can put in good performances but I felt that we didn’t play like a team.”
