Fulham closing in on deadline-day signings

Fulham are closing in on at least three signings ahead of the 11pm transfer deadline. 

They look set to sign midfielders Hugo Larsson (pictured), from Frankfurt, and Manuel Angel from head coach Alvaro Arbeloa’s former club Real Madrid.

Fulham are also close to the signing of Austrian centre-back Daniel Affengruber, 25, from Elche for a fee of around £8.5m.

Swede Larsson, 22, is heading for Craven Cottage after a deal worth around £20m was agreed. 

Larsson scored two goals and provided two assists in 25 games for Frankfurt last season in the Bundesliga.
