Fulham needed to show maturity, says Silva
Boss Marco Silva felt Fulham were punished for a lack of maturity in their home defeat against Bournemouth.
Whites centre-back Joachim Andersen was shown a red card just minutes after Bournemouth’s Ryan Christie was dismissed, leaving both sides with 10 men.
“You know, in football, sometimes if the opposition side gets a red card, you have to be more careful. You have to be much more mature,” said Silva.
“I’m not saying that was a clear red card for Andersen. But you have to be more careful – much more mature.
“I don’t want to go very deep on it. I’m trying to see all the images that I can have assessed for that. So far I didn’t see one that showed to me that it’s a clear red card for Andersen.
“Probably they are there and probably in the next few hours I’m going to see. But I repeat again, what I said before, we have to be more careful.”

The defeat was a crushing blow to Fulham’s hopes of securing a European place.
“Until the red cards, the game was completely on our side,” Silva argued.
“The result didn’t show that because of moments when we weren’t clinical enough.”
