Lukic fit to return for Fulham against Chelsea

Fulham midfielder Sasa Lukic is set to return to the squad for Monday’s derby against Chelsea.

The Serbia international injured his groin in last month’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal but has been cleared to face the struggling Blues at Craven Cottage.

Tosin Adarabioyo and Adama Trarore are both unavailable for the match.

Chelsea have only beaten lowly Luton this season in the Premier League and have scored just five goals in six matches.

However, Fulham boss Marco Silva believes counterpart Mauricio Pochettino will turn things around at Stamford Bridge.

“I have great respect for Mauricio’s and have a great relationship with him,” Silva said.

“He is a very good manager – look at what he did at Southampton and Tottenham and the way he made them grow and after the spell he had in France with PSG he has a great CV and that saw him get back to the Premier League with Chelsea.

“But Chelsea is a tough job, like all the jobs in the Premier League, but he is a very good manager and very good guy as well and it will be nice to see him as well.

“We know their quality, they have spent over £200m on Enzo (Fernandez) and (Moises) Caicedo, which shows how much they really wanted them in their team, and a billion pounds on their players.

“They have quality and energy and the organisation in midfield and it will be a real fight in there with our midfield.”
