Fulham interested in United defender Bailly

Fulham have enquired about the possibility of taking Manchester United defender Eric Bailly on loan with an option to buy.

Bailly has found himself out of favour at United and made just four Premier League appearances last season.

But the Red Devils would prefer a permanent sale or the guarantee of one at the end of a loan deal.

The 28-year-old has two years left on his current contract, having first joined the club for £30m back in 2016.

Fulham are set to soon make their first signing of the transfer window, with Sporting Lisbon midfielder João Palhinha coming in.
