Fulham lose to Man Utd after late drama

Man Utd 3
Casemiro (19′)
Cunha (56′)
Sesko (90’+4)
Fulham 2
Jimenez (pen, 85′)
Kevin (90’+1)

A dramatic stoppage-time winner by Benjamin Sesko condemned Fulham to defeat at Old Trafford after they had come back from two down late on.

Goals from Casemiro and Matheus Cunha either side of half-time gave Manchester United a 2-0 lead, but Fulham responded through Raul Jimenez and Kevin to level.

Casemiro headed in from Bruno Fernandes’ free-kick in the first half, moments after a penalty was initially given to United. VAR checked and downgraded the decision to a free-kick for holding, after Jorge Cuenca challenged for the ball near the box.

Cunha doubled the hosts’ lead in the second half with a powerful drive beyond keeper Bernd Leno.

Jimenez’s penalty after he had been fouled by Harry Maguire gave Fulham hope, and Kevin curled in a beautiful strike to level in added time, but United’s lead was restored by Sesko, who collected Fernandes’ pass and turned and fired home.
