Fulham in talks to sign Rayo Vallecano defender Ratiu
Fulham are in talks to sign Rayo Vallecano defender Andrei Ratiu.
The 28-year-old is a Romania international and primarily a right-back but also comfortable elsewhere in defence.
Ratiu’s career has been built almost entirely in Spain, coming through Villarreal’s academy before a loan at ADO Den Haag in the Netherlands, then a move to Huesca. He joined Rayo Vallecano in 2023, where he made his La Liga bow.
Fulham have already brought in Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios from Real Madrid this window, added Shea Charles from Southampton, and turned Jonah Kusi-Asare’s loan from Bayern Munich into a permanent deal.
Boss Alvaro Arbeloa has made it clear he is keen to further strengthen the squad before the transfer window closes on Tuesday night.
