Fulham have injury worries ahead of Forest game

Fulham will face Nottingham Forest on Sunday without midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah – and question marks are hanging over Fabio Carvalho, Harrison Reed and Joe Bryan.

Carvalho had his first training session this week after recovering from Covid-19 and a broken toe, as did Bryan following a clash with a post desperately trying to prevent QPR’s goal last weekend.

On Reed, boss Marco Silva said: “It’s nothing serious, but he’s not 100% fit.

“We have one more training session, so we have to see how all three are.

“How long is Chalobah out? It’s difficult to say right now. We have to wait and see.”

Silva admits the contrast between Forest and a luckless Cardiff side on the end of a 2-0 defeat to the Whites on Wednesday couldn’t be greater.

He said: “Forest are in great, great form and have a good start under a new manager (Steve Cooper). To win as they did on Tuesday (at Bristol City) in the final minute is a real boost.

“But we are looking forward to the game and will prepare to win it, as we normally do.”
