Fulham fail to land Belgium winger

Dutch club FC Twente say they have rejected a bid from Fulham for winger Nacer Chadli.

Whites boss Martin Jol is looking to add to his attacking options before the transfer window closes, but Twente chairman Joop Munsterman insists his club are in no rush to let Chadli go.

Fulham are reported to have offered around £4m for the player, and Munsterman told Voetbal International: “It is a half offer and for that price we won’t be letting him go.”

Chadli, 21, scored in both of Twente’s Champions League games against Tottenham last season and was previously linked with moves to Newcastle and Aston Villa.
