Fulham duo’s injuries are not serious – Jol
Fulham manager Martin Jol does not believe injuries picked up by Brede Hangeland and Dimitar Berbatov in the win against Stoke are serious.
Defender Hangeland was withdrawn at half-time because of a back problem, while Berbatov was forced off in the second half after suffering a knock.
Berbatov was replaced by Darren Bent, who came off the bench to score an 83rd-minute winner and give the Whites their first win in six league games.
Jol said: “Hangeland had a stiff right side in his back and he couldn’t play on.
“Berbatov got a kick and had to come off but he is fit. I am confident he will be back for the next game.”
