Fulham v Man Utd player ratings

An 89th-minute Manchester United equaliser left Fulham still waiting for their first Premier League win under boss Alvaro Arbeloa. Here’s how we rated each Whites player in the 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage.

Bernd Leno: 8

Turned Lisandro Martínez’s long-range strike behind in the first half and got across well to push out Bryan Mbeumo’s curling effort in the second. Also had to tip over a deflected Matheus Cunha shot. Had no chance with the equaliser.

David Affengruber: 6

Was beaten by Cunha on the right before Bruno Fernandes hit the post, though he did get across to stop a Fernandes header and made a strong tackle on Mbeumo. His leg diverted Cunha’s shot past Leno for the 89th-minute goal. Very unlucky.

Calvin Bassey: 7

Won the ball from Cunha in the build-up to Fulham’s opener. His shot from outside the box led to the own goal. He was also solid at the back.

Sander Berge: 6

Forced Senne Lammens into a low save with a shot from the edge of the area. Worked hard in midfield.

Antonee Robinson: 6

Cut the ball across from the left for Gonzalo Garcia during Fulham’s best first-half move. Always looked lively on the left.

Alex Iwobi: 6

His deep cross from the left created a chance for Josh King. Had a shot blocked in the second half and was replaced on 71 minutes.

Oscar Bobb: 7

Found space in the United box in the first half but put his shot wide. Substituted on 71 minutes after a very decent display.

Josh King: 7

Had three first-half chances: one sent high and wide, one side-footed straight at Lammens, and a close-range effort that Lammens tipped wide. Was generally involved in most of Fulham’s best monents.

Gonzalo Garcia: 6

Got behind Harry Maguire and was alone in the box, but could not control the pass or shoot first time. Later pulled a shot wide of the left post from outside the area. A frustrating afternoon for the striker.

Kevin: 6

Came on for Bobb on 71 minutes. Lammens parried his low shot.

Cesar Palacios: 6

The game somewhat passed him by after his second-half introduction as United were pushing for an equaliser.
