Williams steps up comeback in U21 game

George Williams played for 80 minutes as Fulham’s youngsters beat West Ham 2-0 at Upton Park in the Under-21 Premier League.

A crowd of more than 2,300 saw Jordan Evans score with a stunning 30-yard free-kick on 34 minutes and Dean O’Halloran beat the offside trap to net early in the second half. [phone][/phone]

Whites midfielder Williams continues to make good progress in his recovery from the long-term knee injury he suffered in March while on loan at MK Dons.
