Fulham table bid for defender Mancienne

Fulham have made a bid for Nottingham Forest’s former Chelsea defender Michael Mancienne.

Whites boss Kit Symons is still keen to bring in another centre-back before next week’s transfer deadline, despite recently signing Tim Ream from Bolton.

Mancienne, 27, joined Forest from Hamburg last summer and played 38 times in all competitions last season.

The Feltham-born former England Under-21 international has also been at QPR, making a total of 61 appearances during two spells on loan at Loftus Road from Chelsea.

He made six first-team appearances for the Blues before moving to Germany in 2011.

  • Interesting Barton to expensive for Fulham but not for Burnley. What a mess we are in. There is a report out showing us as one of the worst run clubs.
