Fulham check on trio ahead of Forest game

Moussa Dembele will be given a fitness test ahead of Fulham’s trip to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

The 19-year-old, who has scored nine goals in 20 appearances this season, missed training on Thursday with muscle tightness.

Richard Stearman and Tom Cairney are recovering, having not trained in the early part of the week.

Fulham caretaker-boss Peter Grant said he hoped all three would be available for the game at the City Ground.

However, Sakari Mattila has not kicked a ball since suffering a back injury in the warm-up ahead of the game with Preston last weekend, and Lasse Vigen Christensen remains sidelined with a knock picked up on international duty with Denmark Under-21s.
