Transfer gossip: Speculation over futures of Fulham players

There is inevitably speculation over the futures of Fulham players now the club’s relegation back to the Championship has been confirmed.

The Daily Mirror reports that Fulham are resigned to losing Ryan Sessegnon, with Tottenham again tipped to move for the youngster this summer.

The newspaper also say West Ham are among clubs interested in Whites striker Aleksandar Mitrovic, who has also been tipped to move on.

The Sun say relegation means Fulham will end Andre Schurrle’s two-year loan from Borussia Dortmund a year early.

The Sun also say Sessegnon’s future is in doubt, but claim him tweeting that caretaker boss Scott Parker should be given the manager’s job was the player “dropping a hint that he may be ready to stay put and help try to get Fulham back into the Premier League again.”

Meanwhile, there also continues to be speculation over the future of Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The Daily Mail say Manchester United, who have recently been linked with the England international, are ready to accept he is out of their reach.

Hudson-Odoi, whose contract expires next year, is being pursued by Bayern Munich and made it clear in January that he wanted to leave Stamford Bridge.

But the Mail say Chelsea are determined to keep him and in any case would be unwilling to sell him to a Premier League rival.
