Bobby De-Cordova Reid’s goal gave Fulham victory at Goodison Park.

After Everton had missed several chances, De Cordova-Reid scored with a simple close-range finish on 73 minutes after being teed up by fellow substitute Andreas Pereira.

Fulham rode their luck at times in the first half, with former Brentford striker Neal Maupay missing two great opportunities to put the hosts ahead.

Bernd Leno produced a fine save to deny Abdoulaye Dououre as Fulham continued to come under pressure.

And Everton had a goal disallowed when Michael Keane fired into the but referee Stuart Attwell deemed there to have been a foul by another ex-Brentford man, James Tarkowski, in the build-up.

After the interval, Raul Jimenez almost scored on his Fulham debut when he volleyed Harry Wilson’s cross against the post – the striker’s final touch before being replaced by Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Everton then also hit the woodwork, with Nathan Patterson shooting against the bar from the rebound after Alex Iwobi’s shot had been saved by Leno.
