Johnson again linked with Fulham job

Stories in Sunday’s newspapers involving the area’s clubs…

Fulham have again been linked with Bristol City boss Lee Johnson.

Johnson has been touted as a possible new manager at Craven Cottage, where Scott Parker has been in caretaker charge since the sacking of Claudio Ranieri.

The Daily Star Sunday claim the Whites, Brighton and West Bromwich Albion are keen on Johnson, whose City side are battling for a Championship play-off place.

Like Fulham, West Brom are currently without a manager, while there has been speculation about Chris Hughton’s future after a poor season at Brighton.

Meanwhile, the Mail on Sunday again tip Tottenham to make a move for Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon.

And there also continues to be speculation over the future of Eden Hazard.

The Sun on Sunday say that last summer Chelsea agreed to let him leave for Real Madrid at the end of this season if he stayed at Stamford Bridge for another year.

The newspaper say Hazard and his representatives “have reminded Chelsea that he has honoured his side of their arrangement and urged the club to agree a fee for his transfer.”

Hazard’s contract expires next year and he has made no secret of his desire to play for Real.
