Rene Meulensteen remains confident Fulham will stay in the Premier League despite their latest defeat.
The 2-0 loss against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium left them only one point and one place above the relegation zone.
But Whites boss Meulensteen saw enough positive signs to still believe they can get enough points to avoid the drop.
“I think we can survive, definitely,” said the Dutchman, who took over from Martin Jol last month.
“The spirit is good, we have plenty of quality, and I believe in the short time I have been with these players we are improving all the time.
“What we need is a run of results. Our performances have been very good but we haven’t had the results.”
