Bobb could make first Fulham start in cup tie

Marco Silva could hand new signing Oscar Bobb his first Fulham start against Stoke City in the FA Cup this weekend.

Bobb has made two appearances off the bench for his new club since a recent move from Manchester City.

Whites boss Silva said on Friday afternoon: “A good session from him today, like all the other players.

“We have to decide tomorrow. We are going to take a decision on whether he’s going to start. It’s a good chance for him, like it is for Kevin or Rodrigo (Muniz).”

Silva confirmed that midfield duo Sasa Lukic and Tom Cairney will miss the cup tie.

Silva also spoke of his sympathy for former Brentford boss Thomas Frank, who was sacked by Tottenham this week.

Results speak louder than all the other things that we are doing,” said Silva.

“About Thomas and other colleagues, (when) they leave their jobs, it is always a difficult moment. Of course, a very good coach and a great man as well.”
