Transfer gossip: Gladbach want Loftus-Cheek, Bild say
Some of the latest transfer gossip involving Chelsea.
Borussia Mönchengladbach want Chelsea’s Ruben Loftus-Cheek, according to German newspaper Bild.
It comes after the Bundesliga club’s sporting director Max Eberl suggested that he is looking to sign more English youngsters.
Gladbach, who are also said to be keen on Arsenal’s Gedion Zelalem, currently have defender Andreas Christensen on loan from Chelsea.
Courtois speculation continues
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois continues to be linked with a possible move to Real Madrid.
So too does Manchester United’s David de Gea, with both men said to be on Real’s radar.
The Sun say Real are looking to offload current keeper Keylor Navas and are hoping to sign Courtois, De Gea or AC Milan’s highly-rated teenager Gianluigi Donnarumma.
Navas has been offered to Juventus, Roma and Lazio, it is claimed.
Morata still being linked
Chelsea also continue to be linked with Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.
It is claimed that Blues boss Antonio Conte is keen to sign the 29-year-old in the summer.
And Spanish newspaper AS reckon forward Karim Benzema signing a new deal at Real means Morata has less chance of making an impact there and increases the possibility of him moving to England.
