Swansea v QPR player ratings

Rangers are in even deeper trouble following another dismal away day. Here’s how we rated the players in their 4-1 defeat at the Liberty Stadium.

Julio Cesar: 5
An afternoon to forget for the Brazilian, who was at fault for three of Swansea’s goals.

Nedum Onuoha: 5
Should have done better for Swansea’s all-important third goal, when he was beaten by Pablo Hernandez.

Chris Samba: 5
Consistently troubled despite his physical presence and dismally beaten for Michu’s second goal. Looks unfit.

Clint Hill: 5
Given all sorts of problems by Michu and was slow to react for the opening goal.

Armand Traore: 5
Caught out a number of times, including in the build-up to the second goal.

Jamie Mackie: 5
Also at fault for the second goal, failing to track the run of Angel Rangel. Produced little going forward.

Shaun Derry: 5
Awful in front of the back four. Swansea played around him with ease.

Stephane Mbia: 5
Another who offered absolutely no protection to the defence, which is his job. Unlucky not to score though when his effort was cleared off the line.

Jermaine Jenas: 5
Tidy enough but was unable to assert himself.

Andros Townsend: 6
Troubled Swansea at times with his pace and produced a couple of decent crosses.

Adel Taarabt: 7
The driving force for Rangers’ goal and was unlucky with an effort he curled just wide. Worked hard up front.

Bobby Zamora: 7
Added some presence up front when he came on, took his goal well and set up a late chance for Shaun Wright-Phillips with a clever ball.

Esteban Granero: 6
Effective enough when introduced for the second half.

Shaun Wright-Phillips: 6
Unlucky to see his injury-time effort hit the bar.
