Speculation over Morrison’s contract after West Ham reject Fulham bid

Fulham offered West Ham £7.5m for both Ravel Morrison and Mo Diame, The Sun claim.

Whites boss Rene Meulensteen revealed on Monday night that his club had an offer for Morrison rejected.

And Fulham are said to be planning to make another bid for the former Manchester United midfielder, who The Sun say has a £19m buy-out clause in his Hammers contract.

The Daily Telegraph say the clause is for £18m but that a bid of £10m would trigger another clause meaning Morrison’s wages would jump from £15,000 a week to £60,000 a week  if he stayed at Upton Park.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mirror reports that £4m was offered for Morrison, with Fulham cooling their apparent interest in Diame.

Cardiff City, managed by former United man Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, have also been linked with a bid for Morrison.
