Saints star ready to snub Man Utd and wait for Chelsea – report

Southampton left-back Luke Shaw is ready to snub Manchester United and wait for a move to Chelsea, the Daily Mirror say.

United boss David Moyes is reported to be planning a pre-deadline bid for Shaw, who supported the Blues as a boy

And it is claimed that the 18-year-old would rather stay put, believing Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho will make a move to sign him in the summer.

Shaw is said to have set his heart on a transfer to west London rather than Manchester should he eventually move on.

Southampton insist they have no interest in selling the player either now or at the end of the season. Shaw signed a five-year contract at St Mary’s last summer.
