Djibril Cisse’s second-half equaliser lifted QPR off the bottom of the table but they are still without a league win this season. Here’s how we rated the players in their 1-1 draw against Reading.
Julio Cesar: 5
Should have done better for Reading’s goal.
Jose Bosingwa: 6
Has displayed Gary Borrowdale-like mediocrity in recent matches but did serve up a good delivery for Cisse’s equaliser.
Anton Ferdinand: 5
Poor. With a potentially harrowing game against set-piece specialists Stoke to come, after which Stephane Mbia will be two-thirds of the way through his ban, Ferdinand could soon find himself well out of the first-team picture.
Ryan Nelsen: 7
Solid and reliable, but can’t do everything.
Armand Traore: 7
Still only able to last 70 minutes but continues to perform well in that time.
Junior Hoilett: 6
Decent in fits and starts but never really got going.
Samba Diakite: 5
Dismal in the first half before improving as Rangers were able to impose themselves more in the second.
Esteban Granero: 6
A passenger for large periods of the game, with Championship-standard players like Jay Tabb and Mikele Leigertwood able to boss the midfield. Dangerous from set-pieces, but Rangers could have got that from Akos Buzsaky. Needs to do more.
Adel Taarabt: 8
Big talent – and these days has a big heart to match. At the centre of most of Rangers’ best moments, always looking to create and also showing maturity off the ball. Had a great chance near the end but was denied by a fine save. Has made great strides in 2012, which Mark Hughes deserves a lot of credit for but won’t get because the manager’s stock is so low at present.
Jamie Mackie: 6
Ineffective at times but hangs in there. And when Mackie hangs in there long enough, something drops for him. It could be at Stoke this weekend.
Djibril Cisse: 7
Reminiscent of John Spencer after his swashbuckling first season at QPR. The fire has gone out in a big way. But Cisse got a chance and buried it, so the bottom line is he did his job.

Diakite - Underrated. He was good!
Granero - Not his best.
Taarabt - Fiery, wild, whiff of desperation.
Bosingwa & Traore - Better than the opinions.
Cisse - Ketchup out of the bottle! 2B cont'd.
Zamora - Many pros switch off and go zen. This is especially true for performers in physically demanding professions. Whatever works. Lay off. I would, however, really appreciate better connections from him.
Hoilett - It wasn't his most productive day on the pitch, but this is one hell of an ambitious soul and I think QPR is the right place for him.
Mbia - He is missed. Quality player.
Park - He is also missed. He would have slowed the game down in spots. The pacing was not controlled by either side. The game was high on octane and low on finesse. I believe his cool head would have come in handy.
I saw fire, grit, tenacity.
I want to see guile, and lots of it.
I want outright deceptions. Plot away.
By guile and deception I don't mean diving, btw.
Deceive with loud gestures and silent signals.
Set them up and punish them until they don't twitch.

I think you got that pretty much spot on. Diakite was woeful in the first half and Granero went missing for a lot of the second.
What is the difference between Computer Engineering and Computer Science?
Did you even watch the game? Diakite & Granero were our best players along with Taarabt, 57% possession shows that Reading's midfield did not boss the game, although Cisse scored he was poor throughout, Traore was disinterested most of the game, terrible ratings.
