Manchester City looking to capture Chelsea youngster – report

Manchester City are tracking highly-rated Chelsea youngster Conor Hunte, according to the Daily Mirror.

It is claimed the champions will have the 16-year-old watched this weekend and are believed to be keen to sign him.

Hunte is regarded as an excellent prospect and featured in a recent youth-team game against City, which Chelsea won 2-0.

Chelsea are said to be determined to convince him his future lies at Stamford Bridge.

French newspaper Le 10 Sport say Ashley Cole has moved a step closer to agreeing a move to Paris St-Germain.

It is claimed former Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti, now in charge at the French club, telephoned Cole to make him an offer.

There has been speculation about the England’s left-back’s future as his contract expires next summer.

Chelsea manager Roberto Di Matteo has stated that he believes Cole will sign a new deal.

Meanwhile, the Daily Mail say Chelsea are considering a move for powerful Vitesse Arnhem striker Wilfried Bony.
