Spurs, Arsenal and Man Utd also linked with defender Ranocchia

Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United are also trying to sign Andrea Ranocchia, the Daily Star say.

Chelsea have been widely reported to be keen to buy the Italy centre-back from Blues boss Jose Mourinho’s former club Inter Milan.

Other Premier League clubs are being linked with him although Ranocchia, 25, has denied he is looking to move.

Chelsea are also among those supposedly interested in Croatia international Ivan Rakitic, who has apparently refused to commit his long-term future to Sevilla.

Meanwhile, Fredy Guarin’s agent Marcelo Ferreyra has suggested that the Inter Milan midfielder is nearing a move to Chelsea.

Ferreyra said: “I can confirm that Chelsea want to buy Guarin.

“Now the British team are talking with Inter to try to find an agreement. In recent days we also went to London with Inter officials to talk with Chelsea.

“Now we want to understand what the sports project is at Chelsea. Fredy is happy at Inter and we only want to make safe choices.”

Elsewhere, Dinamo Moscow sporting director Guram Adzojev has played down reports linking Fulham with winger Balazs Dzsudzsak.

Liverpool have also been linked with the 26-year-old, but Adzojev has insisted he is unaware of interest from the two Premier League clubs.

The Express quote him as saying: “This is the first time I hear the name of these teams in connected with Balazs.

“There are interested teams, but at such a big club as Dinamo it’s not a surprise.

“It’s very busy during the winter and the summer transfer window but I can say we haven’t received any detailed offers for the winger.”

And QPR are interested in teenager Josh O’Hanlon of Irish club Longford Town, the Evening Herald reports.

O’Hanlon recently had a trial at Crystal Palace and has also trained with Manchester United.
