Ramos linked again, plus more speculation over David Luiz

Bayern Munich are reportedly keen to sign David Luiz from Chelsea.

Portuguese newspaper A Bola say the German club are strongly interested in the Brazilian, who has been tipped to move in January.

Real Madrid’s Spain defender Sergio Ramos has again been linked with a possible move to Stamford Bridge, this time by the Daily Star, who say he has been lined up as a replacement for the Barcelona-bound Luiz.

Chelsea have missed out on the signing of Max Meyer after the German youngster signed a new contract at Schalke, the Daily Express claim.

The Blues and Arsenal were both reported to be interested in Meyer before he agreed a three-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit.

Elsewhere, Monaco sporting director Vadim Vasilyev has told radio station RMC that Radamel Falcao will not be leaving the club.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for the Colombian striker, who was a target for them during the summer.

But Vasilyev insisted: “He’s very happy here. He feels really good in Monaco.

“We dined with him, his wife and the president a few days ago and he loves the club and the city.

“There’s no problem and he won’t leave in January – that’s certain.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s former West Ham striker Demba Ba is again being linked with a return to Upton Park.

And Talksport say QPR boss Harry Redknapp is still pondering a deal for Yossi Benayoun.

The 33-year-old Israeli, a free agent since leaving Chelsea, has been training with the R’s ahead of a possible move to Loftus Road.
