Chelsea apparently looking to pip Arsenal to signing of Paraguay international

Chelsea are preparing to hijack a move by Arsenal to sign Barcelona teenager Tonny Sanabria, according to

Sanabria, 17, has been tipped to leave the Nou Camp, with Gunners boss Arsene Wenger recently reported to be keen to take him to the Emirates Stadium.

But it is claimed that Chelsea have now expressed an interest in the player, who has already been capped by Paraguay at full international level but appears to be facing a tough battle to secure a first-team place at Barca.

Meanwhile, Kevin de Bruyne has again been tipped to leave Chelsea for Wolfsburg, this time by German newspaper Bild.

But his agent Patrick de Koster has told the Cologne-based newspaper Express that four other German clubs are interested – and has hinted that De Bruyne could be on his way to Bayer Leverkusen.

De Koster is quoted as saying: “Should Kevin be allowed to leave, I will call [Bayer Leverkusen boss] Michael Reschke within 30 minutes. We have an excellent relationship.

“Dortmund, Gladbach, Schalke and Wolfsburg have also been in touch with me. Kevin will take a look at where is best for him.”
