Chelsea and Arsenal set to miss out on Pogba, doubts over Fulham keeper
Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reported to be close to signing a new contract at Juventus, which will supposedly disappoint Chelsea.
It is claimed the Blues are interested in the 20-year-old France international, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Real Madrid.
Metro quote Juve goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon as saying: “Pogba? You will see soon he will also renew his contract.”
Chelsea are being widely tipped to attempt to sign Radamel Falcao on loan from Monaco when the transfer window opens in January.
The Colombian striker was linked with a big-money switch to Stamford Bridge prior to moving to Monte Carlo – where he is reportedly unsettled – from Atletico Madrid in the summer.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports report that Neil Etheridge’s loan spell at Crewe could be brought to a premature end after the Fulham goalkeeper suffered a thigh injury.
