Chelsea linked with Sheffield United star, Cesar speculation

Chelsea have been linked with Sheffield United’s Harry Maguire, with Metro claiming they have been tracking the defender.

It comes after a Blues scout was at Fulham – who Chelsea play on 1 March – to see United’s FA Cup victory against the Whites on Tuesday.

Sevilla’s Ivan Rakitic, another player on Chelsea’s radar, Talksport say, is now reported to be a target for Barcelona.

Manchester United and Liverpool are also said to be interested in the Croatia international.

Meanwhile, there continues to be speculation about the future of QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar.

The transfer window remains open in his native Brazil, where press reports suggest Santos have been offered the chance to sign him.
