Arsenal linked with Fulham star and agent hints at Essien exit

Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov could join Arsenal, according to The Times.

The Bulgarian’s agent recently stated that Berbatov is looking to leave in January, and it is claimed that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is interested in signing him.

Meanwhile, Michael Essien’s agent Fabien Piveteau has told French radio station RMC that the midfielder could be about to leave Chelsea.

“It’s true that he could leave Chelsea this winter,” said Piveteau.

“Several big European clubs playing in the Champions League have made enquiries and it should play out in the next 10 days or so.”

And German media reports suggest Wolfsburg face competition from Atletico Madrid for the signing of Kevin de Bruyne, who has also been tipped to leave Chelsea.
