QPR’s signing of Paul Konchesky has brought a mixed reaction from fans on Twitter.
Some feared the 34-year-old may block the path of teenage full-back Cole Kpekawa.
Not sure about Konchesky. He’s not coming in as cover, he’ll be first choice which is a shame for Cole Kpekwa who had a good pre-season #QPR

So @QPRFC , are trying to avoid signing has beens and sign youngsters instead, then sign 34 years old Paul Konchesky for a season. Really?

I can’t believe it… We’ve signed Paul Konchesky… I’m glad we’ve learned our lesson in bringing in pointless signings😒😒😒

But others were more positive about the move for the ex-Charlton, Liverpool and Leicester man and urged people to see him in action before making a judgement.
Love Our fans slagging off konchesky. Same people slagged off hill and Derry. Give the bloke a chance same as the BFG.

The future looks decent for us regarding left backs. Robinson/Kpecwa and possibly even Yun. Not sure why the panic over Konchesky #QPR

Konchesky is back in west London five years after leaving Fulham, having played for the Whites in the 2010 Europa League final – and their supporters seemed disappointed not to have him back.
In my humble opinion, Konch is a great signing for #QPR. He may be past his best but let’s face it, we haven’t had a left back since he left

Would’ve loved Konchesky back at Fulham as cover for Garbutt. He’s got hair as well.
