Transfer gossip: Speculation over Abraham’s future

The Sun on Sunday claim Everton want Tammy Abraham and that the Chelsea youngster could be included in a deal that sees Romelu Lukaku return to Stamford Bridge.

The newspaper say Everton have moved ahead of Leicester – who have also been linked with Abraham – in a race to sign the striker, who has impressed while on loan at Bristol City this season.

With former Chelsea man Lukaku tipped to rejoin the Blues this summer, it is claimed that Abraham, 19, could move to Goodison Park on loan or even be sold.

Everton boss Ronald Koeman is said to have had Abraham watched last week. Promoted Brighton are also reported to be interested.

The Sunday Mirror, meanwhile, say Middlesbrough are keen on Abraham and that Chelsea have been “swamped” with requests to take their best young players on loan next season.

Lewis Baker and Izzy Brown are also said to be attracting plenty of interest from clubs.
