Fulham v Leeds player ratings

Fulham’s failure to beat Leeds means they have won only one of their last six league matches. Here’s how we rated the players in their 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage.

Joe Lewis: 9
Distinguished himself with two fine first-half saves to deny Stuart Dallas and Chris Wood and almost saved the penalty which beat him. Also excellent in keeping out Mirco Antenucci and Dallas again in the second half. The on-loan stopper ensured the injured Andy Lonergan was not missed.

Jazz Richards: 7
Coped well with Lewis Cook, who never got the better of him down Fulham’s right flank. The Welshman was equally solid against substitute Jordan Botaka when Leeds shuffled their pack.

Richard Stearman: 7
A decent night’s work alongside Dan Burn. Good in the air and on the ground. His efficiency kept Fulham calm when they had to cope with prolonged spells of Leeds pressure.

Dan Burn: 8
Reassuring at the heart of the back four. He was a commanding presence and mostly managed to keep Wood subdued.

Luke Garbutt: 7
Always looked to get on the front foot and support Ben Pringle down the left.

Lasse Vigen Christensen: 6
Might have done better with an opening at the start of the second half, created by Ross McCormack, but dithered on what was a quiet night for the Dane, who was replaced midway through the second half.

Jamie O’Hara: 6
Picked up a booking in the first half for clipping Dallas just outside the box and too much of his work involved helping out at the back rather than creating danger at the other end, which is what home fans wanted to see.

Ryan Tunnicliffe: 6
Some wayward passing undermined another energetic display from the midfielder. Always prepared to drop deep to help in defence and help start up attacks, but this not his most eye-catching display.

Ben Pringle: 6
Drifted in and out of the match. One speculative first-half effort flew harmlessly wide but his last act before being withdrawn on 64 minutes was to handle the corner that gave Leeds their equaliser from the spot.

Ross McCormack: 7
Had an early shot against his former club that flashed wide, but otherwise played the role of provider rather than likely scorer. His quick bursts of pace created space and promised more on the break than was ultimately delivered.

Moussa Dembele: 7
Showed great pace and power to score his goal, bursting around Sol Bamba to drill past Leeds keeper Marco Silvestri. He worked hard throughout.

Ryan Fredericks: 6
Injected some welcome extra pace down the right flank after stepping in for Pringle just past the hour, but the Whites’ attacks were only ever sporadic during a disappointing second half.

Alex Kacaniklic: 6
Came off the bench for Christensen after 68 minutes and struggled to make any real impact.
