Fulham hope to sign duo – report

Fulham are looking to conclude the signing of Wolfsburg defender Alexander Madlung, the Daily Mail report.

The Whites are said to be also hopeful of agreeing terms with Dnipro midfielder Derek Boateng.

Chelsea are set to sign Metalist Kharkiv’s Brazilian midfielder Taison and Corinthians forward Paulinho, according to the Daily Mirror.

It is claimed the Blues, who are expected to seal the signing of Newcastle striker Demba Ba, are ready to pay £10m for Kharkiv.

The Mail say Bayer Leverkusen are showing an interest in taking Chelsea winger Marko Marin on loan.

The Los Angeles Times suggest Frank Lampard has moved a step closer to joining LA Galaxy from Chelsea, while Italian newspaper La Repubblica say Lazio have offered him a three-year contract.

Meanwhile, QPR boss Harry Redknapp wants to sign Marseille striker Loic Remy and has considered a move for Aston Villa defender Richard Dunne, according to the Mail.

It is claimed Redknapp has been given £20m to spend in January, with a bid of £9m placed for Remy, a £7.5m offer planned for Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila, while West Ham’s Mohamed Diame – who has a £3.5m release clause – is also a target.

Newcastle are believed to be keen on Remy as a replacement for Ba and are seen as favourites to sign him.

Paris St-Germain’s Diego Lugano, 32, is another player said to be on Redknapp’s radar.
