Swans tipped to sign Hoilett, speculation over Canos and Hyndman

A round-up of recent transfer speculation involving the area’s Championship clubs…

Swansea have again been tipped to move for Junior Hoilett, this time by the Daily Mirror.

West London Sport recently revealed that Hoilett, whose QPR contract expires this summer, has told Rangers he wants to leave for the Premier League and is not interested in signing a new deal.

The Mirror  say Swansea are confident of completing the signing of the 25-year-old Canadian, who was previously offered to the Welsh club on a free transfer but they declined to sign him.

And Leroy Fer, who ended the season on loan with the Swans from QPR, continues to be touted for a possible permanent move to the Liberty Stadium.

Meanwhile, Brentford and Fulham are among a number of clubs interested in signing Sergi Canos amid apparent uncertainty over his future at Liverpool, according to The Independent.

Canos, who impressed while on loan at Brentford last season, made his Liverpool debut at the weekend but contract talks are reported to have stalled.

Reading and Glasgow Rangers are also said to be interested in the 19-year-old, as are Spanish clubs Eibar and Sporting Gijon.

And there continues to be speculation over the future of Emerson Hyndman.

The American has indicated that he will leave Fulham when his contract expires this summer, and several European clubs – including Manchester United – have since been linked with him.

The Daily Record say Celtic are showing an interest but face competition from AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund.
