Speculation continues over Terry’s future after contract offer

Inevitably, there is added speculation over John Terry’s future after he was offered a deal to stay at Chelsea.

Terry, 35, is widely reported to have other options, having apparently been under the impression that he would be released when his Blues contract expires at the end of the season.

The Daily Express say he has received at least one lucrative offer from China.

The Daily Mirror say he has had several offers from China and that there has been interest from Al-Arabi in Qatar.

The Mirror also say Terry is both frustrated that Chelsea took so long to make him an offer and concerned about how it would be perceived if he were to quit the club.

Meanwhile, The Sun reports that Terry would have to accept a pay cut if he is to stay at Stamford Bridge.
