QPR linked with Pritchard, Chelsea still said to be chasing Varane

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving QPR and Chelsea..

The Daily Mail reckon QPR want to sign Alex Pritchard on loan from Tottenham.

Pritchard, 22, spent last season on loan at Brentford, having previously been on loan at Swindon Town and Peterborough.

Tottenham are expected to make him available again when the loan window for Football League clubs opens next week.

QPR have signed a number of midfielders this summer and currently have no plans to add another to their squad.

However, it is suggested that Rangers, whose head coach Chris Ramsey worked with Pritchard at Spurs, are interested.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are still being linked with Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane.

The Daily Star claim he is a target for both the Blues and Manchester United.

  • So Ramsey has no plans to add yet another midfielder to his squad BUT someone has said that QPR want to take Pritchard on loan.

Even you can see that this rumour is a none starter ... so why bother publishing it?
