Transfer gossip: Magpies linked with Caulker, Fulham reportedly want Murray

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s Championship clubs…

Newcastle are interested in signing Steven Caulker from QPR, according to the Shields Gazette.

Rangers are keen to offload the defender, who joined Southampton and later Liverpool on loan last season.

And it is claimed that Newcastle are considering making move for Caulker this summer.

Meanwhile, QPR are interested in Legia Warsaw striker Michal Kucharczyk, reports in Poland have claimed.

It comes after a Rangers scout recently attended a Legia Warsaw match, prompting speculation about which players they might have been watching.

Kucharczyk, a 25-year-old Poland international who can play on the wing as well as up front, has duly been linked with possible move to west London.

And Fulham are interested in signing Glenn Murray from Bournemouth, according to the Evening Standard.

Fulham, who had their transfer embargo lifted this week, would apparently be willing to pay the former Crystal Palace striker’s wages, which the Standard say are £30,000 a week.
