Liverpool and Manchester United want Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen, the Daily Express claim.

The newspaper repeats comments made three weeks ago by Borussia Monchengladbach sporting director Max Eberl, who indicated that the German club are keen to sign Christensen on a permanent deal.

Danish centre-back Christensen, 19, has impressed while on loan at Gladbach and there has been speculation over his future.

And the Express say Chelsea are set to receive an £11.9m bid for him from Gladbach and that he is also being targeted by other clubs.

With Antonio Conte widely reported to be close to getting the Chelsea manager’s job, The Sun declare that Blues owner Roman Abramovich plans to give the Italian £130m to spend on transfers.

Everton’s England defender John Stones and Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal are said to be among the club’s summer targets.
