Transfer gossip: Speculation over Green’s future continues

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving QPR…

West Ham as well as Crystal Palace have enquired about Rob Green, the Daily Mirror say.

West London Sport recently revealed that QPR are looking to offload the 35-year-old goalkeeper because of a clause in his contract that means he would land a new deal at Loftus Road were he to make another five appearances.

Since then there has been much speculation about his future, with Liverpool among the clubs linked with him.

Crystal Palace expressed some interest, while the Mirror claim Green’s former club West Ham have also done so.

The Hammers did make an approach for Green during the summer transfer window but no move materialised.

He left Upton Park to join QPR on a Bosman free transfer in the summer of 2012.

Meanwhile, the R’s have had an approach for Bordeaux striker Enzo Crivelli turned down, French media reports claim.

The 20-year-old is one of a host of forwards Rangers have been made aware of during this month’s transfer window, but the Sunday People recently claimed the club were looking to sign him in a £1m deal.
